There’s been quite a bit of talk in the blogosphere about events and freebies. I must admit, I’ve received my share of such items during the rare instances I that I actually manage to attend blogging events. That said though, as long as I’ve been blogging and going to such occassions, I can honestly say that I’ve only received two giveaways that can actually be categorized as awesome. I won’t tell you what they are because I want you to get curious. If you’re curious you most likely will give me attention. And I have big enough balls to admit that I’m a bit of an attention whore. I however give you will give you clues to what those two awesome giveaways are. One of them involved chips and the other one is in my pants. Yes. In my pants. Like right now. Anyway, I think I lost my train of thought there. I actually do have a point somewhere. Stick around in case I find it.
Oh there it is! Here goes: freebies are great and all, but the fact of the matter is, I have personally never attended a blogging event for the goodies. And while I can only speak for myself, I am pretty sure a great majority of bloggers who attend such events don’t go for freebies either. Because let’s face it, in a lot of cases, the freebies don’t even cover the bloggers’ expense of going to the event. Following my logic then, it’s safe to assume that the bloggers who actually attend these events have every intention to write about them. At least for the most part. I think. Anyway, all I’m really saying is, freebies or not, if something is blog worthy, then people will blog about it. Or not. I mean, I don’t really know now do I? I’m really just rambling here, hoping I’m making some kind of sense somehow. I normally do because I’m awesome. Ask my readers. Yes, all three of them. Also, if you haven’t figured it out yet, awesome is my favorite word.
Anyway, all this talk about freebies reminded me of this nice site where you can make freebies for your events. They offer various mementos such as kitchen folios, bridal collectibles, fleece lap blankets, ezy roller carts for kids, agenda desktops for moms, hand painted hearts and crosses and a lot more. Posy Lane is not only perfect for blogging events but also fantastic for weddings. Thay have cookie wedding favors, edible wedding favor, wedding candy favor and a lot of other goods to choose from. They have the complete package for you — It’s simple. You can even choose your own design down to the size and color of the font you want to use on your logo. With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can have the most adorable giveaway for your guests, for whatever occasion.
See what I did there?
